Do I need to bring a mat?
No – our Edinburgh studio is fully equipped with everything you need for a Pilates class.
What should I wear?
Please wear or bring a pair of socks, as we have a “socks on” rule for hygiene.
Other than that, just wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. It’s helpful if your clothing is not too baggy, so that our teachers can easily see how your body moves.
Why do I need an induction session?
We feel that this is essential, as it gives you the chance to get a full postural assessment and personalised advice, as well as getting to know our way of teaching at the studio. This is also an alignment session, so you'll learn how to make changes in your everyday life to manage your pain. The individual care and attention that we give to our members is what sets Leith Pilates apart from gyms and other studios.
What if I need to cancel my induction session?
We are happy to reschedule your induction as long as we are given 24hrs notice.
How much is an induction session?
It's £40 for the 1 hour session.
What if I miss a class?
If you know you won’t be able to make it, please let us know as soon as you can.
We’ll be happy to help you reschedule up to 3 classes within the term, so that you can catch up on any you’ve missed. Please email to re schedule.
Is there a changing room?
Can I join part way through the term?
Yes. After your induction session you can join us mid-term.
How much are your classes?
Our terms are usually 9 weeks for £108.
How much are 1-1 private sessions?
It's £50 for a 1 hour session. You can also book 1-2 and 1-3 sessions, which cost £60 and £70 respectively.
Do you offer drop ins?
Has the studio got disabled access?
No. The studio is situated on the 3rd floor at the top of a spiral staircase, there is no lift
